The best fishing trip I have ever taken -- bate the hooks, run the line and torpedo 2000 meters out into the Tasman Sea, and voila:


Fresh snapper! Clean and fillet and ready for the Bar-be this evening. No Diesel fumes, sea sickness, irritating first mates. Great fun!

Those snappers look great! That torpedo is the way to go. My bud and I went out a couple weeks ago and did a bit of fly fishing at an alpine lake in the Central Cascades and nabbed 4 trout. We cooked two of them over the fire and feasted. I will set up our photo page asap.
